Stephen Bishop's Guests

from Lynda on 02/06/02
Message: I've been a fan for years. My "On and On" CD was almost worn out before it was stolen last July. My life has been empty since then, and the search is on for a replacement. Are you working on a new release?

from Mark Stoll on 02/06/02
Message: I believe I e-mailed you many months ago asking if you'd be playing St. Louis any time in the future.  I am glad to see you will play here.  My wife and I and a couple of friends have tickets.  Any chance of getting you to sign my copy of Songs in the Rough at the show?

from Ted Villarreal on 02/05/02
Message: You're definitely one of my favorite singer/songwriters. I have every one of your albums. With the exception of "Bowling In Paris" which I plan to search and buy someday. I always thought you wrote the best bridges in the business. Your lyrics are so poinant and your jazz-tinged music is very listenable. I'm anxiously awaiting your next masterpiece!

from Alan Hesford on 01/20/02
Excellent music. Excellent everything. Where in this shrinking world can I get Red Cab?

from Gilles Gabillet on 01/16/02
Message: Hi Stephen, it is always incredible when you see your musical idols in person...that's what happened to me when I went to your concert in France at EuroDisney for the last Wast Coast festival. That was a very moving night for me and my friends. I was wondering if you happen to send chords of your songs to your fan ? I know musician usually don't like that, for copyrights reason, or other reason I don't understand. The only thing I know is that there are many songs of you I like to sing in my car or at home and I'd like to do it on my guitar also. Unfortunately, the chords sounds too difficult to identify ! don't tell me you did it in purpose !!! Anyway, if by chance you can provide me with those chords, choose one or more songs among the following ones : My clarinet Red cab to Manhattan Same old tears from a new background (so beautiful) Never letting go By the way, what are you doing now ? are you working on a new album ?? I hope you are well, in good health and in happiness. Gilles

Message:Stephen, I have been looking for a recording of yours, it's 'the Christmas song" i heard it here on a local radio station a few years ago and I called to get the name of the album. They told me it was "the stars come out for Christmas" i have looked for it and even tried to order it to no avail. I have literally spent hours going through the Christmas cd's at every tom, dick and harrys,(k-mart) and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. ha! I would love to find a copy of that recording, can you help with this? you still have the most beautiful voice, and I will look forward to hearing your next recording. Still a big Bish fan! Cora Lynn

from Michael Johnson on 01/03/02
Message: Hi Stephen. I have been trying to find your "Best of Bish" CD, but I am having a hard time. I love your songs, but there is one in particular that I am searching for: it's from the Unfaithfully Yours movie. Unfaithfully Yours (One Love). Can you help me out? I sure hope so. Any help you can provide would be most appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my message. I hope to hear back from you. Sincerely, Mike Johnson

from Danny Nicholson on 01/03/02
Message: Dear Stephen, The emotion that you are able to birth in a song is as strong as any I have ever heard. I am a James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Billy Joel, Jim Croce,etc...fan. I have been a student of songwriting for years and even created three original albums myself. I just wanted you to know that when I hear the acoustic version of "Separate Lives" I am amazed and in awe of the emotion and honesty you put into it. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your ability and how many wonderful nights of song you have given to me. Thanks for giving us so much through song. You have made this world a better place!!! Just a long shot but I would love an autograph. I would be honored. My home address is: Danny Nicholson 1060 Willoughby Lane Mount Pleasant, South Carolina 29466 Youre the greatest !! Danny

from Joyce on 01/03/02
Message: Dear Stephen, I don't know if you read the e-mail personally or if you respond back, but I feel as though I should let you know about this special person in my life. The music teacher in our school(Tom Nichuck), who is my best friend, has been enlightening me these past few years on all the different types of music, especially certain pop singers, country and jazz. I have learned so much about music itself and have been online for him many times. He not only teaches Music to grades k-8, but he is our instrumental teacher, teaches instrumental lessons in two other schools, works at the studio teaching students, goes all over to kids' homes teaching, plays/sings in the church choir, and is in a band. As you can see, and probably know from experience, he is one BUSY person; still he would do anything you ask for. I guess the reason I am writng this is to see if you can get in contact with him through e-mail or letter or even an autographed picture because he is going through a very rough time right now. It hurts me to see him this way, and he needs something to take his mind off of his troubles, even if for a few minutes. (In fact, I wrote to you yesterday using his name and his son's e-mail address to surprise him.) I hope this made some kind of sense. I know musicians have this thing between themselves and that is great. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Joyce

Thanks for all the work you have done. I am, and will always continue to be, a big fan of yours. The song "On and On" has really gotten me through some tough times. Saw "Tootsie" the other night and your performance of that song floored me. I could go "on and on"... .Keep it up Bish, you are one talented guy. Robert

Message: Simple little message; that I have like your music ever since your first album, that I was lucky enough to happen upon shortly after its release. Hey, loved your work in Animal House, betcha get that a lot. I am glad I finally used this ol' internet to find out you're still out there doing the work. I live in Bismarck, ND and have several friends who have been fans for just as long, so if you're ever in the neighborhood, drop in. I am going to get, at least, one copy of your '96 album, and I sure hope to check this site someday and see a more recent release. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Message: Just listening to one of your CDs. I've always been a big fan. You inspired me to pick up a guitar (and a Mel Bay chord book!) when I was 15 and learn to play. Thanks for writing songs from the heart. Art is successful when it conveys the emotion of the artist to that of the recipient. You are a true artist. Would love to come hear you. Are you ever in the deep South?

Message: I just wanted to drop you a quick line to tell you that I think your songs are great. I just picked up your Hits of.. album and have been really enjoying it. I'd already heard most of it but hadn't heard your acoustic version of Separate Lives - what a great version! I'm probably the only bad guitarist that works in my department (we do online CD retail) and was wondering if you had ever published a tab or standard notation for that arrangement? I would love to pick it up. Thanks for the great music! BTW, I love the way you sing the line ("and you make it stronger...") amazing honesty there. Matthew Durgin Philadelphia, PA

Message:Dear Stephen, I discovered your music when I was just out of high school, and have enjoyed it very much ever since I bought Careless when I was in college 1977, and listened with the ear of a lonely girl who was "Looking For the Right One". I found him...or he found me, and we married in 1988, and I was able to listen with the ear of a happy woman wanting to share the news that "Everybody Needs Love". In February of 1990, I gave birth to our first child, who graced our lives for only 28 days. At that time, I couldn't listen much to music, because there were too many songs that had a whole new meaning to them--no parent should ever have to lose a child, and though his death was a blessing in that it released him from misery and pain, it left a hole in our hearts that has been difficult to fill. Subsequently, we were blessed with 2 healthy happy children who are growing into the most generous, loving little people--they see their brother Joseph as their personal guardian angel. For some reason tonight, I became very blue, as I do on occasion, missing my first born and wondering what his life might have been like if things had been different--in our house , we say, "Mom has a case of the Josephs", and everone is very patient with me. Tonight it hit when I was alone, and I went looking for music to help me get through it all. I grabbed "On & On", and my headphones and sat down to lose myself at the computer. As I listened, I was swamped with many memories, and at the end, listened to "(You'll Always Be)My Heart & Soul". I had always before listened to it thinking, "Here's a song written by a man who has found the love of his life." Tonight I listened with a different ear, and sang that song to my son, and was able to get through the worst of a bad case of the "Josephs". Thank you for sharing your gift with the world, and with me.

from Fernando Fernández-Escalante on 11/03/01
Message: Just as you have always had The Beatles for a leading inspiration, I have always turned to them to refurbish my strength to carry on... But whenever I have felt in the mood for loving, or in need of tenderness and quiet, the choice has been any of the mellow and touching Stephen Bishop albums. Songs by a great musician, sung by a singer just as great. I keep looking forward to hearing from you again. It's good to have you on the air. Sincerely, Fernando

In the Female, Beth Neilson Chapman, and Christine Lavin. I have followed your carrer, even watching for you on tv. My hope is someday I will be able write such a tune as "parked cars" or "recognized". If you ever come to Austin Texas,we'll fill the venue for you. My fave picture of you is the one from the sleeve of Phil Collins' album "face value". The one that has you eating chips in a robe. You epitomize my idea of a musical "everyman". Message:I picked up a copy of bowling in paris, expecting maybe a good song or two. I was stunned. There was a transparency and artistic performance only approached by a few artists I've ever heard: (believe it or not) Winona, Vonda Shepherd, Harry Connick, Garfunkel, and Don Henley. I realize that these "fan" things are rarely read, and usually boring, but that album is the best vocal performance I've ever experienced. If there had only been one person on the planet capable of hearing it, it would still have been more than worthwhile.

from Susan Holbrook on 10/15/01
I have this vague memory of you singing "It Might Be You" at the 1982 Oscars. For some reason, I was very touched by that particular performance and have been a life-long fan ever since. Then I found out that you were in the movie "Animal House"! I'm also a huge John Landis fan, so I've followed your "film career" as well. : ) Is there any possible way to obtain a photo of you from the '82 Oscar ceremony? Seems to me you were wearing this amazing splatter-paint tux. I might have dreamed that part. It was a long time ago, but I was very moved by the moment. Is there perhaps a download-able image of it somewhere online? I would love to get e-mail from you. Thanks! -Susan

Message: I've always enjoyed your records and now, that I can put my old vinyl on CD, I've been listening to Bish and Red Cab, and all the old soundtrack stuff. It's just great, and I thought that Blue Guitar was one of the better discs of the year in '94 (was it really that long ago?). So the big question -- anything in the pipeline? Just wonderin' (no pressure or anything...). Mitch in NJ

Message: Stephen, I've been listening to "Careless" since 1977 and (no exageration) I either play one or all of the songs, or perform a few or just sing them to myself AT LEAST once a week and mostly more EVER SINCE October, 1977! That is the impact the album had on me. I consider it to be my #1 album of all time... and that's coming from a die-hard Beatle fan who has high musical standards!! Thanks so much for contributing to my personal life. I've much to say, but I'll try to find a more appropriate venue. Larry Trischetta Scranton, PA

Dear mr Bishop...I often wish you'd come over with your guitar and sing for me. I wore out your tapes harmonizing with such great lines as..."like a storm in a teacup, like a smile sent down from heaven..." Such beautiful feeling, so many great melodies. you enriched my life through so many lonely times. You are so gifted. i used to sing in a tavern named Maloneys with two friends of mine in Margate, new Jersey back in the 80's...nothing like harmonizing to "Bish". Very sweet.

Message: Hi Stephen. Am basically a bug fan of yours and your album Ond and On is one of my best cds. Was able to see you here in the Phils. when you had a gig two years ago with David and Michael. I was practically seeing with all of the songs you played that time. Thanks for your music and don't you know that it has been keeping me going in life. I used to be a hopeless romantic (maybe that is one characteristic best describing the lyrics of your songs) but now, I have found the love of my life. Hope to hear about your new single or album probably. Take care and best regards to your family.

Message: Hi Stephen, I'm Mika and I surely hope all is well with you. Thank you so much for sharing your gift, as you see it has touched so many. I hope you never tire of hearing praises. I just turned 26 in July and I have been a fan for many years, though I was the only young woman in my peer group at the time that was aware of the beauty you were unleashing on the world. So I gravitated towards people who did bathe in your bliss. Your passion saw me through some 'times'. Thanks for the elevation I feel when I hear your name. At times I wonder how you can take all of it building inside of you. You are truly a reflection of how my soul feels so deep! Your music is understanding itself, and I am Walking On Air. I would be pleased to hear from you, if time permits. Take care. (reflective_moon@webtv.net

Message:I was just listening to the best of Art Garfunkel and hearing "Looking for the right one" I realised how long it had been since I heard any of your stuff. I used to have Careless on vinyl and Bowling in Paris on tape, but both are now long gone. It wasn't til I heard Art sing your song, that I realised how much I miss your music. For some strange reason, we in England never seemed to appreciate Stephen Bishop. For our sake, come over to the UK and show the fools what they have been missing. I know that Dean Freidman has toured quite successfully over the past few years, and i'm damn sure you could do the same. I for my part, will have to get out and buy your stuff on CD now that my appetite has been re-whetted. On the cheeky side. There is nothing I would like more than to receive a signed phote for my wall (my wife will even be happy to have it on the wall) My address is: Gary Desperles (and Ruth) 48 Eathorpe Close, Matchborough West, Redditch, Worcestershire B98 0HQ England. In any case. Get some new music out there. It's about time we had something decent to listen to, instead of all tis (C)Rap music and such.

Among other sights I've posted on are tributed to ART GARFUNKEL and ANDREW GOLD, folks you've worked with and they are doing well since the disaster. Just want to encourage everybody to take a break from the bad news and explore some stuff you enjoy on line or whereever -- take time for yourself and you'll heal soon!! AS FOR YOU, mr. Bish, looks like your sad song from BLUE GUITARS called ITALIAN RAIN has become true for us all, not just that child you wrote the song about. But, don't fret, in answer to your song, no, they haven't "captured the moon". Thanks for the music, memories and healing and we'll see you soon singing somewhere I hope! Love Paul

You are of course a fantastic songwriter, but also a great singer/guitarist. Would you have any advice for me? I'm a singer/ songwriter. I'm getting into the game a bit late but it's what I want to do. Your music has inspired me to write and play. I just cut a four song EP (with some great Chicago session players). Any ideas you might have for how to connect with folks who would listen would be great. Are you touring much these days? It would be great to see you live (I'm in the Chicago suburb of Evanston). Thanks for reading this. All the best to you. You are on the top of my list of fantastic artists. If you are able, please let me know what you are doing these days. Best Regards, Tom

I don't know if you remember but you came and sat in a couple nights. It was many years ago,so if you do not recall don't worry about it.Currently, I have been playing with a new singer Stephanie Kelly. We played with David Foster at the Indian Wells Tennis Stadium to 12,000 people. It was a thrill to play with him. Our friends the washingtons who front alot of money for music projects(Streisand,Jackson,Bodygaurd, etc. taled David to come out. It was part of an easter concert with southwest community church. A church of over two thousand located in Indian Wells. Members with tons of money like the Washingtons.Anyway, the point is I have a song I need your help on. Produce co-write and sing. I need you to get it to Speilberg.E-mail me with a time thats good for you to get together. I am out here in the Palm Desert,Calif area. Also, dont forget Dennis. I've been a fan of your music from the first album. My best friend was a promotion man for ABC, so he had tons of Bish in his possession. How I would love to have that album on CD. I've the Greatest Hits compilation, I have Red Cab on cassette, and I've got the latest on Red Bank. I absolutely love your songs. How I wish more people would record your songs...but, I love your originals best. Right now, it looks like you've got a champion in Diane Schuur. Good for her! I love your duet with her. I would love to write with you. I'm a Jazz and Blues musician, and I've been performing your songs since: On and On, and Save it for a Rainy Day. Did you get the checks? Please know that there are a cadre of fierce Stephen Bishop fans who love just about everything you do...with the possible exception of Bowling in Paris. Damn you Phil Collins! When my son & his wife got married their wedding song was that song "All of my life", I don't know if that is the name of it or not, all of a sudden I just went brain dead. Anyway they have it framed on their bedroom wall. My life hasn't been all that exciting. I was married briefly, but my ex-husband committed suicide. I never remarried, I have worked in the banking field, which is something I never thought I would do since I was never much at math, but with the kids good choice. I hope this is not to boring. I have a lot of time on my hands right now, I am on disabilty for a while, I am going through a very aggresive chemotherapy program for colon cancer. I am keeping a very positive attitude, and at least it lets me have time for my gardening and art work which I love. Well, I won't bore you anymore. I didn't see you at the 30 year renunion. The next one is going to be a 40 year renunion. I plan on making it to that one. Thanks for making beautiful music. Elaine

Message: Stuck here on Sunday--both kids are out of the house, my wife is home--and what am I doing? Listening to Blue Guitars and WORKING! This sucks! Only silver lining is the music. Always has been, since the beginning, Steve. What drove me to the site was realizing how great B.G. sounds (you and Andrew Gold did a GREAT job) and how I wish I could get some scratch-free copies of Careless, Bish and Red Cab. Does it exist anywhere? Do you own the tapes? Why not MP3'em and put them up on your site? For a buck a song or $8 for the whole album? Any new music? Heck, do the same; MP3'em. Don't get me wrong, I love CDs but the music scene is such [*******] now that all the good artists are doin' indie stuff to get their music out there; and MP3 seems like a real great empowerment for underappreciated artists. Anyway, you have a solid, fairly sizeable following, don't you? Seems you could market your present and future library this way. Just some thoughts from a musician, a big admirer and a fan. Best wishes, Jay

I own three of your albums (Careless, Bish and Red Cab to Manhattan) and would love to replace them with casettes or CDs. Do you have any idea where I could do this? I realize that many of the songs are on the On and On CD, but not all of them. I considered buying a new turntable, but I don't know what condiion the albums are in; I would like to enjoy the music again. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Message: Hi Bish, You're the greatest! Don't you love hearing that? Seriously, you are one of my favorite singer-songwriters, right up there with Lennon and McCartney. I write songs too, and when I write something pretty good, I think -- well, not as good as Bish, but not bad. I'd love to hear some new Stephen Bishop music. Are you working on a new album? (I hope so) Sorry to hear about your divorce. Been through one a few years ago myself, so I know how you feel. When are you coming to visit us at Penn State? We have several music venues available -- the best are the Bryce Jordan Center and Eisenhower Auditorium. Yeah, it's a college town so there are plenty of Stephen Who? twentysomethings, but also a lot of us Boomers who teach them so please consider doing a concert at Penn State soon or I'll have to drive into New York and get my car broken into again! Thanks for all the wonderful music you've written over the years. You've given me many pleasurable hours of listening to your beautiful music (and making out with girls when I was younger!). Message: Hello from your frinds in England ! Stephen, very pleased that I can mail you . Years ago when I was at college my friend and I got into your music, and had the following on 7 inch vinyl, On and On, Save it for a rainy day and Careless. Now at the age of 43 my friend and I have rediscovered these 3 tracks again, (don't know what happened to our albums of yours, sorry)and they sound so special, I have a tape of the tracks that I play in my car and my 10 year old twin girls cant get enough of those tracks, the Spice Girls, Westlife and Robbie Williams take a back seat when your on, you see you have no competition. One question, we think that you may be making a trombone sound on Careless with your lips is that true ? as when we are in the car listening we try to emulate this, good fun and plenty of siliva. I am very new to the web and so glad that I can find out more, access new albums of your work, and see what else I have been missing. Do you have a fan club of sorts to write and request a signed photo ? By the way I sing in a Blues Brothers type band called the Rhythm Method and were pretty good, but I am trying to include Careless in the set, however the guitarist is also good on accoustic, so it is likely that we will do an accoustic set, and Careless and On and On will be in there. Spreading the word ! Keep making great tunes Bish, and once again thanks for the opportunity to send this message From Martin, Eddie (my college mate and still , Lauren & Rachael, my daughters

Years ago, I was a DJ at a small town station that had an awesome library of music - that included much of your music. (No surprise there) One of the albums was "Bish" - another was, I believe - "Big House". I ran out and bought both on the spot, and promptly played them over the years until the vinyl could take no more. Any chance we'll ever get to hear some of the wonder music you did on those again? I've searched all over the Internet for them - Amazon, CD Now and the rest of the majors. Some of my favorites were Land of Lincoln, Big House -- and I can't seem to find anyone with them. -- I've had fans tell me there was no Big House album even. :-) Got any ideas where I can find them? I'd gladly pay almost anything to hear those songs again. I had some great times and memories of them.

Message: I wore out your "Bish" album in the late 70's. I was in college... primarily into music by David Bromberg, John Hammond, John Prine...and other blues, folk and rock singers. And my friends couldn't understand why I would, then, listen to lighter stuff like Bishop's. I think it was the unique quality of the lyrics and melodies that drew me. And the production seemed to be top-notch. Everything about the music seemed to be straight-from-the-heart. Like "When Will The Right One Come Along?" seemed to echo my sentiments about runnin' wild... lookin' for the right girl for me. When's it gonna happen? Now? Never? Anyway, I drank a lot of hootch and smoked a lot of "cigarettes" (and did some serious "necking')as that album was playing in the background. And I can't get out of my mind a very youthful and hot Tanya Tucker posing w/ various folks on the album's backcover. Great memories. Steve...yer the best.

Message: Just gotta say Steven that I was listening to your greatest hits "On and On" compilation, once again today. You are the best at singing love ballads and you construct them so well. Your acoustic guitar playing is great and you have a smooth voice to put over them. I have a keyboard and a Washburn Electric Guitar and I am finally getting the hang of sheet music, and chord changings and all that. I was writing vocal sheet music this past week. Well if you come to the Vegas area, let me be the first to hear about it. I love your style and when I saw you have your own web page I was like write on. You can write back if you want to. Sincerely, Brandon

Message:Dear Stephen...I was watching "The Wizard of Oz", of all things, when it triggered a memory of your music. I was immediately transported back to 1978 (when I was MUCH younger!) when the Scarecrow sang "If I Only Had a Brain"! I loved your rendition of it, and I remember listening "Bish" and "Careless" often. I have always enjoyed your music, and hearing that song sent me on a merry chase across the Internet in search of your CD's. They were hard to come by, but I found a few still in circulation (the ones I found are definitely on my Christmas list!!) I also had lots of fun researching items for your trivia contest. (I don't know how well I did, but it was fun anyway!) Just thought I'd share my strange evening with you, since you were a big part of it. That moment took me back to a simpler time in my life; one where my biggest worry was what college I would apply to, and where I'd go with my boyfriend on Saturday night. It was a good memory to re-visit. Thanks, Cindy PS...you have no idea how close I came to getting out my old stereo and digging through my old LP's to listen to you again! : )

from Eddie Cunningham on 11/24/00
LOS ANGELES -- With the help of his lucky charms, including a old Ovation nylon string guitar, Los Angeles resident Eddie Cunningham strummed his way to victory, winning the eighth annual Jim Beam Country Band Search on Nov. 11. Cunningham, who used the same guitar for two previous contests at the Grand Ole Opry House, hoped the third time would be the charm. "I took it out of the closet and said 'We're going back to Nashville,' " said Cunningham, whose songs have been featured on the "Made in America" soundtrack and the "Gram Parsons Notebook CD." He also took with him a new suede sports coat from his mother-in-law and a cowboy angel figurine from his mother. In addition to being heralded as the best unsigned country act in the United States, Cunningham played a private showcase for record label executives at Nashville's Music Industry Row, as well as receiving $1,500 in equipment and a Gibson limited-edition Jim Beam (les paul) customized guitar. Cunningham, who competed with four other finalists, said he was "blown away and real excited" to win. He prepared by just focusing on being himself. "From the top of your head to your feet -- it's how you portray yourself, either as a phony or the real thing. I just let the songs do the talking and dressed cool," Cunningham said. He also made sure his voice was in good shape and that he made contact with the audience and the judges while on stage, said Johnny Dorris Jr., one of eight judges. "He took ownership of his songs and conveyed himself in a believable way to the crowd," Dorris said. "He was the most convincing act. It was obvious he was enjoying himself while entertaining the crowd." During his 15-minute set, Cunningham was evaluated on the basis of musicianship, songwriting, live performance, country music appeal and originality. He was accompanied by a house band and his wife Vicki's harmonies as he performed four songs, including a honky tonk number and a ballad. Cunningham, Dorris said, was able to perform seamlessly with the band. He was seasoned, comfortable and believable. "His songs are about a way of life and the things he believes in," said Dorris, who also manages one of country music's top duos, Montgomery Gentry. Cunningham hopes his new title will serve as a stepping stone. "I'd like to use this opportunity as a launch to get my songs to other artists, get more cuts, then I'll be in a better position to get a better recording deal " he said.Message:

I'm a songwriter, will be releasing a cd next march. I hope I don't sound like I'm "gushing", but your first album influenced my writing a great deal. I find I'm writing little preludes for some of my compositions. I think it is a great way to introduce a song. I'm glad you're still playing out and writing. Nice site. I was a friend of Ron Anton and saw your picture with him on the BMI site at the awards on Oct. 3,2000. I have a guitar you might be interested in hearing. If you hit a string in one direction a signal is sent to channel 1. Hitting the SAME string in the oppisite direction sends the signal to channel 2. Bending the string pans the signal from 1 to 2. If you ever get to LA give me a call. Best Always Robert Sariti 310.636.1234 www.dreamcatcher1,com

Message: Stephen....Thank you for your music, lyrics, and guitar talent. My first albums back in the 80's that I bought were Careless, followed by Red Cab to Manhattan. As a guitar player and kid with always a heart for girl, your songs always said the right things. In college...those lonely heartbreak nights included listening to your albums.... Thank you and thanks for your continued work. By the way, will you ever be in Portland Oregon for a concert? You probably already are aware that the Northwest is a great hot bed of musicians and talent. Many acoustical folks have been launched from our area. Would enjoy attending one of your live concerts in the area (seattle also?) Thank you again....your songs still hit the right notes.... Take care, Rod Carlson

My apologies if these have all been covered and I'm just rehashing old stuff, but I just discovered your site! 1) What are the chances that you'll reissue previous albums on CD? Specifically, "Red Cab to Manhattan", which I consider one of my favorite albums of all times! 2) What's new on the horizon? Any new material coming out soon? 3) I notice that you still tour.
