NEWS FLASH: "SONGS IN THE ROUGH" RECEIVES PRESIDENTIAL SEAL OF APPROVAL!

President Clinton was presented his special copy of "Songs In The Rough" at the Presidential Unity Fund 1996 Celebration luncheon.

The event was held on October 17th, 1996 at the home of Ron Burkle at Green Acres. The book was personally presented to President Clinton at the conclusion of his speech by Stephen Bishop's manager Geanie Zelig-Galinson.

This copy of "Songs In The Rough" contained personal notes and autographs from artists whose lyrics are presented in the book, including Michael Bolton, John Byrne, Van Dyke Parks, Richard Addrissi, Jack Tempchin, Charlotte Caffey, Will Jennings, Andy Goldmark, Shannon Rubicam, George Merrill, Julie Gold, Billy Steinberg and of course, the Bish himself.
